Five deaths in Sudan caused by a car bomb

At a military checkpoint near Somalia's presidential palace in the capital, on Tuesday, a car bomb exploded killing at least five people, police said.

Captain Mohamed Hussein said that the explosives were detonated after the soldiers attempted to arrest the car, with the suicide bomber speeding toward the security barrier. Three other people were injured, he added.

Ahmed Ali, a witness, said he had seen the bodies of two soldiers after the outbreak.

Several attacks by the jihadist group Al-Shabab with links to Al-Qaeda have already occurred in this checkpoint and it's one of the several safety barriers that motorists have to cross before reaching the heavily guarded presidential palace.

Al-Shabab has frequently claimed the bombings in Mogadishu but this attack was not immediately vindicated.

The bombing came a few hours after the new prime minister announced his new government with 26 members, and when the fragile central government tries to extend it's influence beyond the capital.

Threats of Al-Shabab attacks are the main challenge for Somalia's new President and former Prime Minister, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, of dual Somali and North American nationality.

The jihadist group has already denounced the new President as an "infidel " and warned the Somalis to support him in his mandate.

Company lost 13 million Dollars because of a comma

Company lost 13 million Dollars because of a comma

The Maine dairy company lost millions of Dollars because an error in Grammar. That's why is very important and misuse of it can do a million dollar loss.

The Oxford Comma, better known as 'Oxford Comma', earned the workers of a dairy company, Maine, paid overtime.

What is Oxford Comma?

It is an optional comma before the word 'and' or 'or', at the end of a list. Example: "We sell books, videos, and magazines. " It is known as the Oxford comma because it was traditionally used by readers and editors of Oxford University Press. Not all writers and editors use this comma, but it can be very important in clarifying the meaning of a sentence when the items in a list are not single words, for example: "We have black and white, red and yellow, And blue and green. Some argue that the Oxford comma is not necessary but others say it can help in situations of ambiguity.

"She took a picture of her parents, president, and vice president. " Without a comma, the phrase suggests she is taking a photograph of her parents, who are also president and vice president. The Chicago Manual of Style cites this example.

And why is the Oxford comma so important?

At stake was the payment of overtime, as the New York Times reports. Recently, this comma was worth 13 million dollars. A group of drivers in the United States won a three-year lawsuit against Maine.

The drivers argued that the overtime work law was ambiguous because of a missing comma. The law says the overtime rules do not apply to:

"Canning, processing, preserving, freezing, drying, marketing, storage, packaging or distribution of: (1) Agricultural products; (2) Meat and fish products; And (3) Perishable foods. " The problem resided in the final part of the phrase, "packaging or distribution of ", being the doubt if it was referring to one or two tasks. According to the judge's final report, he gave reason to the workers, arguing that where there is ambiguity in the labor laws, the worker should be the beneficiary, not the employer.

Man shot down in France on the Orly Airport

Man shot down in France on the Orly Airport

Paris-Orly airport has been evacuated and should remain closed until the evening. Flights are being redirected to Charles de Gaulle airport. The attacker was referenced by the authorities for being radical Islam.

The attacker was referred to by the police as an Islamic radical. A man was shot dead this morning at the Paris-Orly airport after stealing a gun from a military man on patrol. This man's day began hours earlier in a zone north of Paris where he attacked three policemen, wounding one, when they intercepted him to identify him.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Bruno le Roux confirmed at a press conference "What happened was that the individual was discovered in an identity check, his identity is known, he is known to the police and secret services ".

The authorities establish a link between two attacks that took place this morning in Paris, an attack on a patrol of three police officers in the Stains area that cause an injured officer and later the attack at Orly airport with the individual stealing the weapon To a military man from the "Sentinel " program.

At the airport, the man, not yet identified, but already referenced as Islamic radical, managed to steal the weapon from a military man and then went to McDonald's, where he was shot dead by police. There is no record of injuries from this incident.

The story is now becoming clearer. The man was ordered to stop by the patrol in this area north of Paris and when he was asked for the documents he fired at the officers, wounding one of them. The authorities immediately started a hunt for the man, who fled in a car, then changed cars, and it was this second car that was later found at Orly airport. This is the link the French authorities are making.
