President of Turkey expects parliament to approve death penalty

After the referendum of 16 April on constitutional, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday that defends the approval by the Turkish parliament of reinstatement of the death penalty. 

The President of Turkey said "The families of the martyrs and the heroes should not worry. I think the parliament will do what is necessary to approve the death penalty after April 16 ". 

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he will approve the text "without hesitation " if this happens. 

The Turks were called to vote on April 16 a constitutional reform that establishes a presidential system and considerably strengthens the powers of President Erdogan. 

This reform is aimed at ensuring the stability of the state, but the opposition denounces an authoritarian drift, according to the authorities,
